Making a Difference

“Sport has the power to change the world, power to inspire, power to unite people in a way that little else can. Sport can create hope… it is an instrument for peace.” Nelson Mandela

Background and History

Coach Kyle’s development clinics aim to change lives through sport. With a focus on team work, healthy living and fun, the clinics encourage children to not only develop their sporting ability but their social skills too. Our goal is to encourage children to make better choices by helping them recognise their own talents. The team travel to underprivileged areas where children have limited access to sports facilities, coaching and equipment. Our main focus areas are cricket, hockey, rugby and soccer and through sponsorship and the help of dedicated volunteers we are able to bring sporting opportunities to the poorer communities.

FAQ

How often do you run the development clinics?

We run weekend clinics once a month.

How can we get involved?

We are always looking for donations and volunteers. If you would like to donate old sports equipment, give a donation or just come help with the children, you can contact Coach Kyle on email.

Who are your sponsors?

Currently our sponsors are Wakaberry frozen yoghut and Giovanni’s pizza restaurant. We would love to have a few more companies involved to help us make a change to these children’s lives through active participation.

Where are donations going at present?

Any donations that we receive are used in the relative communities.

Donations do not have to be monetary, we would gladly accept old sports equipment, clothing and toys that you no longer use.

For monetary donations please email kyle@coachkyle.co.za
